Anyone see it?

Don't know why anyone wants to interview him, he changes his mind every time he speaks about his move........

Body language speaks a lot in interviews, Savage squirmed all the way through and seemed to tell a few more little white ones......

either way........ WE KNEW IT ALL ALONG..............

MONEY MONEY MONEY.........

If you got offered a job with more money would you take it?

Working is about the people you're working with, he had Hughes & Bowen.

BCFC couldn't compete. Let it go.

i agree with your comment about taking a job for more money..... but there are ways of going about your business, especially after signing a cotract,... lets face it and this is my final word on the subject, he acted like he does off the field as on it... a pratt.

This topic was let go a few weeks ago.... I said then this club will be better off without him.

Its just a shame people cannot be honest and told it how it was in the beginning instead of fooling people that had stood by him and supported him when times were tough....

Who stood by him?

Everyone was booing him and starting 'SELL SAVAGE NOW' threads.

SB was someone that stood by him on many occasions. Times he was harrassed by opposition managers calling for Savage to be banned for his behaviour during games....

The board stood by him too offered him and gave him the contract that "he wanted"... He actually was quoted saying this when he signed his new contract back in the summer, where as today he seems to say in his interview he was offered the same terms...... STRANGE! The board also publicy supported him too when the media jumped on his back last year, and even offered him anything he wanted to help out commuting back home......

As for people wanting him sold? Well not sure where you have picked that one up from. The only time people wanted him genuinely gone was when all this started up back in January....... Everytime he put on a Royal Blue shirt, he was always sang about, supported and given the confidence to help make him the player he was.

I'm a regular to all Home games and occasional away..... I've never known him to be boo'd.... so not sure where your getting that from either.......

He's gone, good luck to him......

Truth be known he was relied on too much in games, now he's gone our team will become stronger........

I am a new member and one of the reasons I have registered today was as a result of viewing the Savage interview on Football Focus.
I agree that this matter should now be dropped and that we will be a better football club without Savage.
However I also believe that people should have the right to express their feelings at the way in which we have all been taken for a ride by Savage.
The man is quite honestly a joke and was extremely transparent today in the aired interview.
I am a great believer in what goes around comes around, mark my words Blackburn could be in for the drop this year!!!!

The board gave him a contract because they needed him.

Everyone wanted to sell Sav, and I meant booing on the boards 'boo boys'.

And he signed because?

pa....
You're normally very rational and logical in your views....
I appreciate that you rated Blondie but why are you still defending him after the way everyone at the Club has been treated?
To be honest....
He came, he saw, he did a bit for us and became a better (and bitter) player....
Now he's gone and we have moved forward and already you can see the improvement....

I'm not defending him. Just trying to make people see it wasn't about Sav thinking he's playing for a bigger team, it was a situation move.

I'm not wasting time being bitter. He's a Blackburn player, Welsh international and nothing special. He's no one, and that's truth.

I agree with you there is a long long way to go this season. I only wish 1 or 2 sides below them would start picking up points. D/Gold dident want him to play against us well i am glad he can cus i will be hopeing that a defeat for them will send them down and can you just hear the laughs and chants that your going down. Cant wait to see the scum bags face.

I started this thread because it was just nice to see the truth finally come out.... But it was also a justification in our anger towards the player for leading "us" supporters up the garden path!

We had a choice when Sav wanted to leave.... should we take the side of the player through his sympathetic reasons? or should we have taken the strong view that our board raised through the media, that is was purely down to money...

The majority took the side of the board.... The majority were right for once!

How many boards of directors mis-lead their supporters?... I guess we have some comfort in knowing that at least we are not taken for a ride by ours. As outspoken as some of the board members can be at times for either the good or the bad of our club. At lease they always tell it how it is....

Chapter Over......................

Like everyone else I am tierd of the savage saga, didnt see the interview but I expect it was predictable. Savage is of limited intelligence and obviously feels bitter towards BCFC for some horrible deed ie they didnt given him a pay rise when he signed his four year contract. He obviously plotted to get his own back and like the small child he is, is still going on and on and on about it. He's gone now. I think BCFC will grow without him.

I don't really care about Blackburn but I must admit with Sav, Dic and Thompson they are all not very skillful but like to kick out. Maybe that will be their tactics to stay up this year, but kicking the sh*t out of the opposition can only work for a short about of time - where are Wimbledon now? I feel sorry for Sav really but if he's happy at his 'professiona'l club with his welsh colleagues and his fellow shin kikcers and not forgetting living next door to Alex Fergansum so so be it. Like someone said what comes around goes around and he is the loser not BCFC. There is more to life than money - credabiltiy and peace of mind go a long way.
